Shop in a bag

10am – 12pm and 1:30pm – 3:30pm (6 years +)

Join us to celebrate independent shops typically found in Victorian arcades with a playful recreation of a “shopping bag” (Shop in Bag).

Participants will learn how to make a tunnel book with a theme inspired by a shop in Market Arcade (past or present) or their favourite shop. They will turn it into a shopping bag with a shop window on the front. Peer inside and their favourite items will be backlit by concealed lighting using battery -powered fairy lights.

Workshops are Free – numbers are limited so please book via eventbrite below.

Bydd cyfranogwyr yn dysgu sut i wneud llyfr twnnel gyda thema wedi’i ysbrydoli gan siop yn Arcêd y Farchnad (ddoe neu heddiw) neu eu hoff siop. Byddan nhw’n ei droi’n siopa gyda ffenest siop ar y blaen.Bydd cyfoedion y tu mewn a’u hoff eitemau yn cael eu hôl-lenwi gan oleuadau wedi’u cuddio gan ddefnyddio goleuadau tylwyth teg wedi’u pweru gan fatri.
