Drop in on Hill Street Studios from 10-5,  join a workshop with Medicine Art and see the work of Rocio E Bucheli – visual arts and amazing picture frames. Check out Newport’s new skatepark in Friars Walk at No Comply – sign up for a zine making workshop there, shop the arts and gifts at Gallery 57, and see work from Kate Mercer (Camera Centre) and Alix Edwards (Diverse Vinyl) on Charles Street. Andrew Phillips is on show in the windows of Newport Credit Union (Skinner Street).

Arts on the Hill Newport is a weekend of art and creativity on the west side
of Newport featuring open houses, events and exhibitions. Artists can open
their homes to share their work or work with partner venues and
organisations to show in other places. There’s room for all art forms with
events over the weekend to be included on a printed trail map that will be
available from partner venues from mid November each year.
