More New Venues

Harding Evans Solicitors & Newport Credit Union

We’re so pleased to have so many new venues this year. Newport Credit Union is a not-for-profit ethical financial co-operative wholly based in Newport. We are committed to providing affordable, transparent, low-cost financial services to everyone within the City of Newport. Customer Service Officer Richard Marshall said that “We believe in investing in our community, our local businesses, schools, and charities. As a venue for Art on the Hill, Newport Credit Union is proud to provide a display for local artists and communities.”

Another new venue but established Newport business is Harding Evans Solicitors where Marketing Manager Haley Evans says “Harding Evans Solicitors have been providing a whole range of legal services to both individuals and businesses in Newport since the 1870s. It is important to us that we are involved with our community, so we’re delighted to be supporting AOTH and the talented artists of Newport this year.”

We welcome them both and all of our new venues – including: RJ Phillips Interiors, The Little Tap House, The Place, Unit 14 Market Arcade, Re-Make Newport, Gallery 57 Limited, No Comply, Camera Centre and HIll Street Studios – this year and thank them for their support!

Arts on the Hill Newport is a weekend of art and creativity on the west side
of Newport featuring open houses, events and exhibitions. Artists can open
their homes to share their work or work with partner venues and
organisations to show in other places. There’s room for all art forms with
events over the weekend to be included on a printed trail map that will be
available from partner venues from mid November each year.
