We’ve got a great weekend ahead and be sure to stamp your maps where you can! TEMMAH will be showing work from Mylo Elliot in @alittle_spacegallery which she will tour around our venues on Sat 26, and on Sun 27 listen out for CARCOPHONY – absurdist art from CointeenTrash in the Civic Centre Car Park.
We have so many new AOTH venues in 2022! No Comply (23) an indoor skate park in Friar’s Walk, host work from: Consumersmith, Andy O’Rourke, Catherine Cains and Matthew Porter-Griffiths with zine-making workshops on Sun 27 – book ahead! The Place (14) – Sat 26 12-6pm – hosts artists and makers such as Steve George Jones, 35mm Studios, Marega Palser, Connor Creates, Aled Singleton (Film: 5pm) and Secret Vintage! Learn some simple sewing fixes with Jean Genies 12-4.
This year, the Church of St Marks (7) hosts: Andy Podmore, Anthony Carter, Barbara McLoughlin, Conor Elliott, Fred Richards, Hughe Beere, Jill Powell, John Briggs, Jonathan Sherwood, Justin Brown and Wendy Beere. With Sound & Music from Julian Hayman & friends. Friends of Newport Museum and Art Gallery will be there to highlight the collection with refreshments available. (Sat 26 & Sun 27 12-5pm).
