Back on the Art Trail

Art on the Hill is BACK… for the fifth year running!

From Friday 26th November to Sunday 28th November 2021, venues across Newport will once again celebrate local artists with a display of art in all shapes and forms: from visual arts to film, with photography, live music and spoken word in between. There will also be opportunities to take part in workshops both in person and online.

Art will be exhibited across the weekend in domestic windows and porches, in cafes and shops, in churches, and even on the move… in a backpack!

Follow the trail around some of Newport’s finest venues… The Riverfront Theatre, Diverse Vinyl, Rogue Fox Coffee, St Mark’s Church and the Cwtsh Art Centre. This year, introducing a few new ones… Unit 9 in Friars Walk, Ffoto Newport in Market Arcade and Nettle and Bark on Clytha Park Road.

Download a copy of the #2021AOTH Art Trail and get out and about across the weekend.

ART + OPEN AIR = HAPPY HAPPY, JOY JOY

Arts on the Hill Newport is a weekend of art and creativity on the west side
of Newport featuring open houses, events and exhibitions. Artists can open
their homes to share their work or work with partner venues and
organisations to show in other places. There’s room for all art forms with
events over the weekend to be included on a printed trail map that will be
available from partner venues from mid November each year.
